NCSR: THE VISION

NCSR is a creative, independent, non-partisan and democratic platform to carry forward the great legacy of Jawaharlal Nehru.  NCSR is visualised not as a conventional organisation. Rather, NCSR is perceived as a living testament and embodiment of Nehruvian vision of India, our democratic tradition, freedom of expression, compassion for humanity, critical thinking, scientific temper, pluralism and secularism. Through our activities, NCSR would attempt to inspire our present and future generation and urge them to reclaim the great legacy of Nehru, Gandhiji and other national leaders.

Our most important objective is to explain and demonstrate the continuing relevance of Nehru and his ideas in the contemporary world.

NCSR strives to engage in incubating new ideas and engaging directly with people, intellectuals, governments and policymakers through advocacy to advance positive change. We shape our strategic priorities by listening to both local and global experts, drawing on the extensive network of advisory boards that support our programs.
